How is this Coat modernized?

The length is similar to a Blazer or Suit jacket rather than Jack Sparrow’s knee length Frock coat.

The Cuffs are roughly half the traditional width as Jack’s.

The “godets” have been replaced with stylish angled flaps that can reveal the “sash” interior with movement.

Collar has been extended.

Rather than Jack Sparrow’s Frock coat dome buttons with 1 inch diameter, 15mm stylish golden color buttons are used.

Renaissance style button decor has been replaced with modern functional button holes.
